In this challenge, the team must master the art of task segmentation and strategic collaboration. Team members are partitioned into distinct groups, and they must cultivate interdepartmental and intergroup collaboration, much like the harmonious coordination required amongst an elephant's diverse parts to progress.
Only through mutual support and seamless coordination among team members can victory be achieved in this challenging elephantine quest.
The Tiger
As teams continue to develop, they face increasing challenges much like confronting a powerful tiger. This challenge stresses the importance of recognising and addressing the vertical communication gaps between leaders and team members.
The game tasks encourage team members to identify their own limitations and the blind spots. It emphasizes the need for clear and effective exchange of information, understanding, and cooperation to collectively overcome obstacles and advance strongly, embodying the strength and agility of a tiger.
The Monkey
As the project progresses, the team faces more specific and nuanced issues akin to tending to agile monkeys. In this level, the team must address the challenges of communication within a flat organisational structure, resolving issues of division of labour and command cooperation.
The game requires players to gather and share fragmented information, plan strategically, and navigate a maze-like environment to reach their collective goal.
The Kayak
Ultimately, the team arrives at the kayak stage, embracing new challenges and opportunities. In this phase, the team confronts fresh issues and trials, and they must adapt to change, strive for continuous improvement, and leverage each member's strengths cooperatively as they paddle together across the open sea.
The journey involves navigating a river path with hidden clues on various islands, requiring creative thinking and resilience to progress.
